Winds Program: Clarinet & Flute

The intensive study workshops in Clarinet and Flute will include private lessons, master classes and ensemble work. Students will study privately with the teacher of their choice and may opt to work with pianists and string players, if they so desire.

Students will have the opportunity to perform as soloists or in ensembles in institute concerts. They are also invited to attend the daily concerts that make up the Music Festival and partake in the wide range of activities offered to become better acquainted with Italian culture and to visit the surrounding area.

 

Chamber Music for Winds


Master Classes with Nancy Stagnitta & Nathan Williams

Winds student will have the opportunity to participate in master classes and work with a variety of other musicians at the festival.

Players will be grouped in ensembles and receive individualized attention in a collaborative yet challenging atmosphere during regular coaching sessions. In addition to master classes, students will also participate in readings and will rehearse together to prepare for recitals. Institute concerts provide a wide range of performance opportunities for qualified musicians and student ensembles.Open to musicians of all levels. Already formed ensembles are also welcome to attend.
