Vocal Program

July 14- July 26, 2008

What does the ACMF Vocal Program offer that is discernibly different from other summer programs?

  • The opportunity to sing in opera productions with a professional opera house orchestra (see details).
  • Personal sessions/Master classes with one of IMG's foremost agents, Alison Pybus, Vice Pres. & Artist Manager  (see details)
  • An individually tailored program suited to your needs and interests as a singer.
Program Highlights:
The ACMF Vocal Program offers a full immersion-style study and performance program for singers under the artistic direction of internationally acclaimed Maestro Michael Cordovana with a renowned faculty of voice teachers and vocal coaches.

Opera productions with orchestra, recitals, staged opera scenes, and other concerts provide abundant performance opportunities for vocalists to choose from. Concert repertoire includes arias, art songs, oratorios, and chamber music and is selected in consultation with festival coaches.

Vocalists of all levels will benefit from a rich offering of private lessons, master classes, and coachings, with voice and diction training. Emphasis is placed on the curriculum that is best suited to the individual singer’s needs and interests. High-level coaches and teachers also devote significant personal attention to preparing each singer for appropriate performances.
