Returning in 2008!   Masterclasses on "Developing Winning Audition Techniques"

Alison Pybus, Vice President, Artist Manager of the Vocal Division of IMG Artists, New York will join the faculty to give public and private masterclasses to singers.

The masterclassses will focus on developing winning audition techniques, revising artist biographies and resumes, reviewing appropriate audition repertoire and an in- depth opinion of how best to audition for opera companies and artist managers internationally.

Private sessions will focus on building repertoire, choosing audition materials, selecting clothing, improving language and diction, and how to set realistic goals to ultimately achieve success in the opera and concert world.

Ms. Pybus currently manages 26 vocal artists ranging from young emerging singers to the internationally acclaimed. They include such luminaries as Thomas Hampson, Susanne Mentzer and Ana Maria Martinez. Ms. Pybus joined IMG Artists New York in 1993, after two years at the London office. She holds both a Bachelor's degree in Music and a Bachelors Degree in Operatic Performance from the University of Toronto.
