Intensive Piano

Hotchkiss Music Department Co-chair Fabio Witkowski and Gisele Nacif Witkowski, Head of the Piano Department, return to oversee the music program, offering a full-immersion study experience in piano and a chance to interact with festival musicians of all ages and levels.

Students will have private lessons with the Witkowskis to expand and polish repertoire while continuing a concentrated study of technique. Students are encouraged to perform in a recital attended by an enthusiastic local audience and festival participants. The program is enriched by daily master classes taught by the master teachers on the faculty of the Amalfi Coast Music Festival & Institute.

Students have ample time for individual practice and the opportunity to attend the daily festival concerts. As key performers in the music festival, the Witkowskis provide students with a fascinating backstage perspective and an inspiring example of the rigorous training and discipline necessary for high-level performance.
